How Price Updates Work for Partners
• Partners can log into their dedicated partner/vendor dashboard to edit their listings at any time.
• Partners have direct access to calendar and pricing settings to modify base rates, seasonal pricing, or day-specific availability and rates on the fly.
• Partners can manage and update their services as long as their partner account or membership package is active and within its item limits.
• Admin Oversight: While partners have full control to change prices for their own assigned services whenever they want, the site administrator may still set commission rates or review overarching membership or platform rules under the Partner Options settings.
Payments from Clients (Customers)
• Checkout Methods: Traveler supports two main checkout flows:
• Modal Checkout: A default built-in checkout method supporting major gateways like Stripe, PayPal, Authorize.net, Mercado Pago, and others. It requires specific theme page templates.
• WooCommerce Checkout: An alternative option that routes bookings through the standard WooCommerce cart, checkout, and payment gateways.
• Gateway Setup: You install payment gateway extensions via Theme Settings > Extensions or Theme Options > Payment Options, then enter your API keys (such as Stripe or PayPal credentials).
• Transaction Flow: When a client books a tour, hotel, or activity, the payment is processed directly through your configured gateway into your primary merchant/bank account.
Payments to Partners (Vendors/Suppliers)
• Partner Profiles & Roles: Users register or are approved as "Partners" on your site, allowing them to list and manage their own services (tours, rentals, cars) from a dedicated partner dashboard.
• Commissions & Earnings: When a client books a partner's service, the site tracks the total booking amount and applies a pre-configured commission split (storing the partner's net share in their internal earnings balance).
• Withdrawal Requests: Partners cannot receive automated real-time payouts for every single booking split out-of-the-box in the same way a multi-vendor marketplace like Amazon does; instead, partners accumulate earnings and request manual withdrawals from the admin.
• Payout Methods: Admins process these withdrawal requests manually via supported payout channels such as Bank Transfer, PayPal, or Stripe, once the partner meets the minimum withdrawal threshold set in the theme options.
• Membership Fees (Optional): Traveler also supports charging partners a fee to join or maintain a vendor account (via membership packages).

How Partner Management Works with LaoAccommodation.com
• Multi-Vendor/Partner System: The Traveler theme features a built-in partner and multi-vendor system that allows individual partners (hosts or agents) to register on the frontend.
• Frontend Dashboard: Partners get access to a dedicated user dashboard where they can submit, edit, and oversee their listings.
• Multiple Property Types: Partners can list and manage various types of hotels
• Calendar and Pricing Control: From their dashboard, partners can handle real-time availability calendars, pricing adjustments, inventory, and incoming reservations for each of their assigned or created properties.
• LaoAccommodation.com Approval: LaoAccommodation.com can choose to automatically approve partners or manually review partner registrations and post submissions before they go live.
How Partners Cancel or Handle Bookings
1. Log in to the Partner Dashboard:
• The partner signs into their front-end or vendor dashboard account on LaoAccommodation.com
2. Locate the Reservation:
• Navigate to the Bookings or My Bookings section to view active, pending, or upcoming reservations.
3. Cancel or Request Cancellation:
• Select the specific booking item and click on the cancellation or status-update option.
• If using WooCommerce integration, note that carts with multiple items may restrict direct frontend user/partner cancellations, requiring the site administrator to handle multi-item or complex order cancellations from the backend (WooCommerce > Orders).
4. Refund and Notification Workflow:
• Once a cancellation is processed, the system triggers email notifications to alert the partner, the customer, and LaoAccommodation.com.
• If a refund is required, the site uses the Refund Manager tool where the admin or partner tracks user banking details and marks the refund complete.
(Note: In the default Traveler setup, all initial reservation payments go to the admin account, and manual commission/refund payouts are handled between the admin and the partner).

Yes, a partner can set minimum stay requirements
When the multi-vendor/partner feature is enabled, partners gain access to their own frontend dashboard.
From there, they can configure the Booking Rules for their specific listings (such as hotels or rental properties).
Partners can establish minimum stay restrictions through two primary methods in their dashboard:
• Global Booking Rules: Within the property submission or editing form, there is a Booking Rules section. Here, partners can set a general minimum number of days/nights required for any booking on that listing.
• Calendar-Specific Rules (Seasonal): If a partner wants to enforce a minimum stay only during specific peak seasons or holidays, they can use the listing's Availability Calendar. By selecting a specific date range on their calendar, they can adjust advanced pricing and restrictions—including minimum stay lengths—for just that window
Yes, a partner needs to provide bank account details if they wish to receive manual payouts or use bank transfers set up by the admin.
Why Bank Details Are Needed
• Withdrawal Requests: The site admin manages partner commissions and payout/withdrawal requests through the partner dashboard.
• Manual Bank Transfers: Partners provide their bank name and account information so the site administrator can process direct earnings transfers.
• Alternative Payout Methods: Depending on which payment gateways or payout options the site administrator has enabled (such as PayPal or Stripe), partners may use alternative payout methods rather than direct bank information.
Partners submit their payout or bank account details directly through their Partner Dashboard profile or payout settings area.
How Partners Provide Their Details
• Bank Transfer: The partner enters their bank name and bank account number (along with international routing/IBAN/SWIFT codes if required) in their profile payout settings.
• PayPal: The partner inputs and confirms their PayPal email address.
• Stripe: The partner supplies their required Stripe API keys or account connection info if Stripe integration is enabled.Important
Notes on Partner Payouts
• Manual Admin Payouts: By default, the Traveler Theme does not auto-split or automatically transfer live reservation payments directly to a partner's personal bank account.
• The Payout Process: The site administrator collects the full payment from the customer through the main site gateways, deducts the platform commission, and manually processes the remaining balance to the partner using the bank or PayPal details the partner provided.
• Withdrawal Thresholds: Sites often enforce a minimum withdrawal or payout threshold (such as $500) before an admin processes a partner payout.
